Jewellery inspired by the ocean

Our Story
BROKEN WAVE
Broken Wave Jewellery was born in the midst of Covid. A Mother-Daughter duo better known as Lisa and Ellie, started the journey in our spare room working all hours under the sun to create jewellery as gifts for friends and family until strangers started reaching out and requesting our designs!
Now Broken Wave has become my everything. I (Ellie) run the business full time, still from our spare room.
Located in Cornwall, with the beach as our neighbourhood and the ocean as our constant inspiration, our love for sea glass has always been a driving force behind our brand. Whether it’s beach combing on our local shores or uncovering hidden treasures during our global adventures, we are passionate about crafting jewellery that captures the spirit of the sea.
My incredible Mum, Lisa, has always had a natural artistic flair, thanks to her art studies at university. Just before the pandemic struck, my brother and I gifted her a silversmith class while we were in Bali, and she wholeheartedly embraced her passion for art and fell in love with the craft.
However, upon returning home, the unexpected arrival of Covid-19 put the world on hold but true to her resilient spirit, Mum turned this challenging situation into an opportunity. She continued learning through YouTube and even taught me, Ellie, during the lockdowns. Her creativity and artistic eye have been passed down to me, and together, we've brought to life Broken Wave Jewellery.
I can't forget to mention my awesome Dad, Andy, who humorously refers to himself as "Lord Alan Sugar"! He's our knight in shining armour, always coming to the rescue when we're busy creating. Whether it's dropping parcels at the post office, fixing a broken tool in the workshop, or making sure we have a much-needed cuppa tea, Lord Sugar is our go-to guy. He's an invaluable member of our team, someone we can always rely on for a helping hand. We're so grateful to have him by our side!
